KNOWN ISSUES

KRISTAL does not recognize some VST effect plugins.
This is a known bug. Unfortunately, there is no workaround. It will be fixed in Kristal 2.
KRISTAL quits when scanning 'Vstplugins' folder
There might be incompatibilities with some VST(i) Plug-Ins, lying around on your harddisk.
You can disable scanning the 'global VST folder' in Engine - Preferences - VST Effects.
If it does not even come up, please use this registry script
to disable it. Alternatively, please rename your Vstplugins folder temporarily.

What about MIDI/VSTi support?
Kristal 2 will support MIDI and Virtual Instruments.
What about DX(i)?
Definitely no! No, no, no... from a developer's perspective.
What about ReWire?
Legal problem :( Propellerhead Software licenses their technology for commercial applications only!
However, the commercial version of Kristal 2 is likely to support ReWire.
What about more tracks/inserts/...?
Do you really need more? ;) Of course, next version.
What about a MAC/Linux/... version?
Kristal 2 will be available for Windows and MacOS X.
Linux and other OS's are not planned yet.
